From teeth rattling electric convulsions to barely-there acoustic refrains, the musical inflections explored by Wares are as varied as they are enthralling. Described as ‘Passion incarnate’ by Vice Magazine, Wares was conceived by Edmonton songwriter Cassia Hardy in the summer of 2013, bringing her engaging,  high energy songs  to audiences across western Canada, notably touring with west coast favourite Johnny de Courcy.  In her first appearance in Calgary since 2015’s Sled Island Music + Arts Festival, the artist is elated to bring her unique brand of solo performance to the Femme Wave stage.
