With more than 25 years in the film and television industry, Michelle Wong brings an unparalleled breadth and depth of production and media arts to the film and television community. Michelle has served on a number of boards including The QuickDraw Animation Society, The Fairy Tales Society, and The Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers. Michelle’s formal film training began in 1990 at the National Film Board of Canada, working with NFB’s Oscar award winning Studio D, where she directed and produced her first documentary Return Home. While continuing to produce documentaries, Michelle spent four years as a segment producer for the Gemini award- winning human affairs series Skylight for Vision TV, in addition to her roles as a director/producer on a number of documentaries and performing arts specials. Currently Michelle works as the Head of Feature Film Division and Business Affairs Manager at Corkscrew Media, where she oversees all contracting and legal aspects of the television specials, series and movies produced by the company.
