Jiajia Li is a renowned chamber flutist who received her Master’s degree in flute performance at  Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt in Germany. She is currently an instructor at the Mount Royal Conservatory and has joined the sublist for the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra. Her expertise in chamber music had proved an asset in a variety of experimental, improvisational collaborations. Jiajia Li recently performed at Sled Island music festival, opening for Justing Wright and Lubomyr Melnick, and we are always in awe of her ability to manipulate her instrument in order to create beautifully intimate soundscapes.
