Soft Cure is one of the most endearing, interesting and delightful bands in Calgary. The brainchild of Seth Cardinal, this is what happens when bedroom pop gets taken out of the bedroom and actually ends up good. Cardinal’s music is full and yearning, poppy and bright, fuzzy and forward. It’s like an afternoon nap when the sun is really golden and you wake up feeling actually refreshed and not worse-off than you were before.
