AMANDA VERHAGEN, Producer, is known for dynamic, loud and unique content that has been continually recognized on the international stage. Her companies short films have played some of the world’s most prestigious film festivals including The Cannes Film Festival. As well as some of the most renown comedy festivals including Just For Laughs NorthWest and The Canadian International Comedy Film Festival. Feature films include seven time Leo award winning THE DEVOUT, recently nominated at the Canadian Screen Awards and upcoming female ensemble comedy PARTY FAVOR, selected as one of six projects to attend the Whistler Film Festival’s Feature Project Lab for development.

MEGAN RUSSELL, Writer, graduated from the University of Victoria with a BFA in Screenwriting and a minor in Professional Writing. Since moving to Vancouver she has worked on several films and TV shows in a variety of roles including ARCTIC AIR (CBC) and STRANGE EMPIRE (CBC). Her comedy feature PARTY FAVOR made it into the second round of the 2016 Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition and was one of six features from across Canada selected for the Whistler Film Festival Project’s Lab. Her animated series THIS UNDEAD LIFE was selected for the 2017 Ottawa International Animation Festival “Pitch This!” competition.

She has been recognized for her web series work by the Leo Awards, Vancouver Web Fest and Hollyweb Film Festival, She recently wrapped the third season of the critically-acclaimed web series THE ACTRESS DIARIES in which she was a writer, director and producer. She currently works as a Production Coordinator for DHX Studios.
